New Faces in Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment

Richard Peddie and his cronies have been running roughshod over the cellars of hockey and basketball respectively; with the flat and utter denial that Toronto is even near the title of “worst sports city in North America”. Now claims are being made that Toronto takes the cake, and MLSE management looks more ignorant than certain religions in the Middle Ages. The Maple Leafs haven’t made the playoffs in over half a decade, and the Raptors are well on their way, since the Chris Bosh departure meant little return for Canada’s lone basketball organization.

MLSE brass will try again to sell fans the idea that the teams are on its way, and this method would be by the particular rookies drafted. The first selection was Tyler Biggs, who happened to be a favourite of escorts in Toronto. Stuart Percy was selected at the twenty-fifth spot, and Burke hopes the opposition will need a massage after combat with the highly touted defenseman. Fans at the Excel Energy Center cheered the Biggs selection since it marked another American in the first round, but fans back in Southern Ontario remain cautiously optimistic. When John Michael-Liles was traded to the Leafs, it was much to the delight of Toronto escorts. Burke will now try to sell the core group he has put in place; it’s bought him another two years, when which even if he has still failed by not making the playoffs, he’ll probably get another two or three years.

Meanwhile the much less heralded Raptors had a draft as well, and were surprised to see Tristan Thompson go forth. It was a serendipitous moment, as Brian Colangelo went ahead with Toronto Asian escort girls and picked Jonas Valanciunas. The seven foot Lithuanian was snapped up on by Colangelo and Giardini, which suggested the level of talent that casual basketball fans weren’t aware of, or at least the potential. Valanciunas still has a year remaining on his overseas contract, and Raptors brass will patiently await the day he arrives to supplant Andre Bargnani. The Italian has been whiny and soft ever since his arrival, and is earning ten million per year to boot. Charles Barkley has never even noticed Bargnani, and mistook him for a volleyball player. Fans and Toronto call girls were happy for Cory Joseph and his selection by the Spurs. Toronto escort agencies know that Myck Kabongo will be the replacement to Joseph down in Texas for the Longhorns. It has been said that it’s the beginning of a golden age for Canadian basketball, and it’s all but confirmed by the venerable Leo Rautins. Much love to Andy Rautins has been shown over in New York.
